Had lunch. Standard pub food. Took a while to get served as the staff had all vanished. Bit dark inside but was a good place to get lunch before the hospital.

Quite a dark pub inside with all mahogany furniture but plenty of tables, split over a couple of levels. Not sure if it had a beer garden? Television was on & the volume was up which is really unusual. Football was on followed by six nations rugby. Very popular with the punters. Stella was just under a fiver & a white wine spritzer was around £3.50. Big pub as you can see from the photos. Quite loud at times but would happily come back again.

Because it was Burns night, I ordered the Haggis, neeps and tatties. It was served in a bowl, which was hot, but the food could have been hotter. Parts of the haggis were still cold. Must do better…

Had lunch there today with about 20 people. It's cold day and first impression going though the door: nice & warm. All served quickly with good food at good prices. Excellent quality as always from Wetherspoons
